1941: Boston University defeated New Hampshire, 8-5, on UNH’s outdoor rink at Durham. Terrier right wing John Chambers scored 4 goals, including the game-winner, and also assisted on two other goals for a six-point night. Linemate center Paul Brown also collected a hat trick, scoring three goals and assisting on three others as he also had a six-point night. Not to be left out, linemate left wing Bud Hines scored a goal and assisted on two others for a three-point game. Terrier goalie Henry Sullivan played two-and-a-half periods and gave up all five goals before being replaced by David Bott for the final half of the third period.
